Why is the Ethernet port not working?

Please use a CAT6 or higher Ethernet cable for stable performance. A working connection is indicated by a solid orange LED and a blinking green LED, showing active network link and data transmission.

Solid adapter and mini port replicator

A really compact USB 3 adapter and port replicator. Well built, comes in a sturdy aluminium casing, so no cheap plastics around. The "tail" is long enough and not the usual rigid cable, and makes it easy to hook up the hub up to the host.Ports: 1x HDMI, 1x full size USB 3 and one USB-C for powering the system (with PD, etc. pass-through)Quite a useful stuff that you can carry around, even while travelling. PD pass-through was working fine both for older (picky) and newish devices, ranging from smartphones to laptops.

I needed to replace my old Lightning adapter with a USB 3.0. This works perfectly for substantially less than Apple's version.

Notebook Docking Station Stand

This docking station offers a wealth of options. In addition to the SD and micro-SD slots there is plenty of room for other storage devices. There are two USB(C) ports at 10Gbps and two USB(A's) @3.0 Gbps so transferring data should be fast. In the limited amount of data transfer I have done to date, it's quick! It also includes the ability to add additional monitors although I have not yet done so. It also has a PD (power delivery) 3.0 port as well a hard-wired Ethernet connection at 1000 Mbps.This is a sturdy and professionally constructed addition that improves the serviceability of my notebook. The additional height at the rear makes the keyboard easier to use for me (YMMV). The non-skid silicone pads prevent the notebook from sliding while making it easy to relocate the dock if you need more convenient access to the ports. (The micro-SD comes to mind.) All-in all, a great addition.

Unique ethernet option in a sea of usb hubs, Acer is a brand I will always trust to get the job done

ACER is a company that has always offered unique, tough products like this ethernet ported hub, and when I saw it was available, I ordered it immediately, as I am a gamer, and I sometimes prefer to connect my laptop directly to the ethernet cable for latency-free, faster connection speeds instead of just over-the-air via wifi signal.This hub allows you to do that. I am no super-expert, but it works as easy as plug and play, and the additional USB ports are quick as well and transfers through them are speedy. No complaints about this hub. It is small with only 1 ethernet and 3 USB ports, but that is its appeal in my opinion. It does a certain job well, and that's all it needs to do. 5 star utility.
