- Make sure the SD card is inserted into the reader in the correct direction (gold contacts facing down/up as indicated).
- If the problem persists, please contact our support team and we will help you resolve it promptly.
- Ensure you are using a UHS‑II SD card with a UHS‑II card reader. If you use a UHS‑I card, the speed will be limited to 104 MB/s (the maximum for UHS‑I).
- Also check if your device (laptop, smartphone, etc.) supports UHS‑II. Some devices only support UHS‑I or lower speeds, which will cap the overall transfer rate.
How do I check if my device supports UHS‑II?
- Insert the SD card into the card reader.
- Plug the reader into your smartphone’s USB‑C port.
- Open the “Files” app on your phone.
- Tap “Browse” at the bottom.
- Locate and tap the folder that corresponds to your SD card (its name will appear under “Locations” or “Storage devices”).
- You can now browse and access all files stored on the card.
