I wanted one dock to run everything off my laptop's USB-C port.Likes:* This thing runs all three of my monitors at once. Two on HDMI, one on DP. My laptop just sees them all and I didn't have to mess with any settings.* Charging through the dock works while I'm using it, and my laptop battery stays topped off even with three screens and a bunch of USB stuff plugged in.* File transfers off my external SSD through the USB-C ports are zippy. I moved a folder of raw photos over and it barely took any time.* The ethernet port is nice to have. My wifi in this room is kind of screwy so I just plug in now for video calls.* It's got some real heft to it, and the metal shell doesn't feel flimsy like the plastic dongles it replaced.No likes:* It runs warm. I have tried other docking stations and hubs before, and none have performed like this one. They overheat, don't perform, flicker, lag, etc. Spending a few extra dollars for a solid product from a company I trust like Acer is worth it. You get what you pay for.Setup was basically plug-and-go. I’m running one 1080 and one 4K monitor, and everything fired up without any drama. The triple?display support is great; I just don't need it (yet). The device supports 8K, which I also don't need (yet), but it is coming, and nice to know I'm ahead of the game. We're a gaming family, so performance in that respect is important, and this device has delivered a stable, fast connection.The vertical design is better than I expected, and it doesn’t get hot the way some cheaper hubs do.
