It does but not in the format that works with the tv. I had to return and get the Belkin one instead. Probably works well to a MacBook, but not for streaming to a tv.

A great 3 in 1 adapter

The perfect addition to my tech cupboard as it can be pulled out easily and plugged into my Samsung, android phone using the USB C connector attached after the plastic protector has been removed, of course.Can be used to connect other hardware devices to my phone using the USB 3 or HDMI ports on the hub.Their is also an extra port available on the hub that supports lightening charging so i can in theory watch something from my USB stick on my phone whilst simultaneously charging my phone at the same time using the lightening port.Extremely lightweight and easy to store.Plug and play technology makes the device simple to use.Highly recommend ??

Portable and likely durable but limited flexibility

This is a nice-looking bit of kit. It is made of Aluminium which looks nice and offers an element of durability. That's important as this hub is probably at its best a portable device that can fix temporary problems with connectivity.It will be of less use in a permanent workstation. It plugs into a computer/laptop via a USB C which offers both power and data. The entry ports are limited and are as follows: A USB C port which is for POWER ONLY. It supports charging up to 100W. The USB A port is 3.0 so that offers a data rate of 5Gbps. The HDMI port supports 4K at 30Hz.They are all impressive ports but there are only two of them that represent an expansion over what is already present on your computer/laptop which isn't a lot of additional flexibility for the price. If all you need is an extra HDMI port and an extra USB port then this may be for you as it is solid, well made and strong enough to be carried as a portable device.

Solid adapter and mini port replicator

A really compact USB 3 adapter and port replicator. Well built, comes in a sturdy aluminium casing, so no cheap plastics around. The "tail" is long enough and not the usual rigid cable, and makes it easy to hook up the hub up to the host.Ports: 1x HDMI, 1x full size USB 3 and one USB-C for powering the system (with PD, etc. pass-through)Quite a useful stuff that you can carry around, even while travelling. PD pass-through was working fine both for older (picky) and newish devices, ranging from smartphones to laptops.
